ELISABET RASPALL

Begins to study music very young at Foment Vilanoví.After that,goes on in the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu de Barcelona,where she got the Professional Diploma,and obtained the Superior Degree at the Taller de Músics de Barcelona.Later,in the U.S.A,with an scholarship,studied contemporany music at the Berklee College of Music,where is graduated in Professional Music, and attended numerous jazz seminars in Barcelona,in the International Seminar of Jazz Schools in Dublín,and in differents Jazz Festivals.

She has studied with Tete Montoliu,Lluís Vidal,Iñaki Salvador,Alvaro Is,Fred Hersch,Barry Harris,George Cables,Zè Eduardo,and others...She had worked in different occasions at the television chanels in Spain,and theatre plays.She combines the professional activitie with teaching.She had becomed in a very sought pianist in the music scéne in Barcelona.We can find her comping the singer Errol Woiski,in diferents music bands or with her own quintet,where is well reflected her creative capacity,playing her own compositions,under different influences.She had recorded 3 C.D.s with her original compositions and another one as a colaboration.She got diverses rewards conceded by Associació de Músics de Jazz de Catalunya,and by Radio 4,RNE in Catalonia.
